When to schedule ?
It's only a few days and your baby will change completely. It's an amazing time to create some memories.
We usually recommend taking pictures of newborns up to two weeks, when the baby has enough flexibility for the most beautiful poses. In addition, the baby sleeps more hours in a row, however, we can accommodate babies up to 4 weeks old, with some pose limitations.
We strongly recommend booking your newborn session during pregnancy to guarantee a space on Paloma's agenda.

NEWBORN SESSION
WITH PALOMA SCHELL
A 50% reservation fee is due at booking. The remaining balance is due after you select your favorites from your proof gallery.
After your session, you will receive a proof gallery with unedited and watermarked images to select your favorites. Additional images can always be purchased separately.

Each image bought is edited individually, and the processing can take 40 to 50 minutes per image. The final photos you receive are meticulously retouched, including lighting and tone adjustments, skin treatment, and body contouring. This ensures that each image becomes a true work of art that you will be proud to display.
​
Props, bonnets, headbands, wraps, and blankets are all included in all sessions.
Newborn Petit
This package is ideal for anyone who wants a small selection of beautiful newborn photos without compromising on quality. It's perfect for capturing some of your child's precious moments in a shorter session. This package doesn't include family photos, but you can add images of parents and siblings for an additional cost of $50 plus tax per person.

When is the best time to take maternity photos?The ideal period for a maternity session is between 28 and 34 weeks, when the belly is well evident, but the mother still feels comfortable.

What kind of clothes should I wear for the maternity session?I recommend wearing clothes that highlight the belly, such as fitted dresses, tops, and pants. After booking, I will send a detailed guide to help you choose clothes that ensure a harmonious and cohesive look for the session. My style is modern, natural, and minimalist, focused on the mother-to-be. Most likely, all the clothes I recommend you will already have in your wardrobe, avoiding the need to invest in pieces you will never use again.

Can I include my partner and children in the maternity photos?Yes, you have two options. The first is to choose the most complete package (Full Session), which already includes photos with your partner and children. The other option is to book the Petit package and add family photos for an additional $50 per person.

How long does a maternity session last?Maternity sessions usually last between 60 and 90 minutes.

How do I schedule a session?You can book by filling out the form and waiting for our team to contact you to confirm the availability of the chosen date. If it is not available, we will send other options that best fit your schedule.

To get a discount of up to $200, do I need to schedule the maternity and newborn sessions together?Yes, when filling out the reservation form, select the "Maternity Studio + Newborn Session" option to secure your discount. This special offer is designed to provide a comprehensive and continuous experience of capturing the important moments from your maternity to the first days of your baby.

How can I prepare for the session?After booking, you will receive a guide with all the necessary information to better prepare for the session, ensuring no doubts remain.

What is the delivery time and format of the images?Files will be delivered in high resolution, in JPG format, without a logo, in an online gallery. Up to 3 days after the session, you will receive a proof gallery with unedited and watermarked images to choose from. You will have 2 weeks to choose the photos. Within 2 days after the selection, you will receive the invoice for the session balance. The fully edited images will be delivered within 2-3 weeks after the final payment of the invoice. If you purchase albums or frames, the delivery time varies according to the supplier.

How will the payments be made?At the time of booking, you will pay 50% of the session value to guarantee the date on the calendar. After the session, you will receive a proof gallery with the best photos to choose from. Only after the selection will we send an invoice with the session balance, including the remaining 50%, family additions, extra photos, and products, if you have purchased any.

Do you offer photo albums or other products?Yes, we offer a variety of products such as photo albums, canvas prints, frames, and more. We can discuss these options during the session or after the photo selection.

Where will the session take place?Sessions are held at Koch & Schell Studio, in downtown Houston, which is fully equipped for the comfort of the baby and expectant mothers. For your convenience, we offer free valet parking so you don't have to worry about where to park your car.
